Did you know that mushrooms are neither plant nor animal, but their classification as living organisms? They are bio-recyclers and decomposers, meaning they play a fundamental role in breaking down organic matter and converting it into soil. Moreover, some mushrooms form symbiotic relationships with trees and other plants, providing them with nutrients and water.
At the Homeschool Day: Mycology & the Mysterious Mushroom event, students will delve into the fascinating world of mycology, exploring the ecology, diversity, and function of fungi.
